Building psychological safety and trust

DETAILS

Some teams produce results that are more than the sum of their parts. Consistently outperforming groups of more talented, but less connected individuals.

Why is that?

No one person is strong in all areas. We could all benefit from developing effective relationships with other people. When we create a culture that everyone wants to be a part of, that’s safe to share honest feedback and safe to try new things, we unlock the brilliance of others.

Almost every project in work or life is a team sport. Even if you work on your own, improving your relationships with suppliers, customers, friends or family is likely to have a significant impact on your ability to get things done and the quality of your life.

At our most recent event, we explored a way of thinking about teamwork, and more broadly about working together in a community which enables you to work with others more effectively.

A highlight for many was the discussion around our Trust Equation tool, which is uniquely powerful as it encourages reflection on both personal leadership qualities and the dynamics of relationships across various spheres of life and fostering greater trust.

“The trust equation is super practical and gave me clarity of where the issue might be, as it helps breaking the understanding of trust into smaller pieces.”

“Great session, very engaging and interactive.”
